OVS Tennis Club (Oulun Verkkopalloseura) is one of the biggest and most active tennis clubs in Finland. In our club we have approximately 400 members. Almost half of them are participating in regular and professionally organised coaching lessons. Many of our members compete on a regular basis and over the years we have won several national championship titles. The club was founded in 1919.
We also have a very active tournament calendar which runs throughout the year. We organize several national competitions, as well as international and junior events which attract players from all over the world.

OVS also organizes lots of happenings for club members. In the end of the summer and winter we play season ending doubles tournaments with a players´ night afterwards. At Christmas time we play a very famous "ham tournament" with a Christmas party where Santa Claus is also wisiting us!!
The club is also publishing it´s own tennismagazine STOPPARI.
In the summertime the club hosts the Korkeasaari tenniscourts. As a club member you can play to reduced prices. By buying Korkkaripassi you can play as much as you want for 80€/summer.
